Wow, I Suck: Updates

Legitimately, I’ve been horrible at keeping up with this blog. Definitely not trying to kick myself too much; I mean, I can say I’ve got a lot of good reasons why I’ve fallen off the face of the planet:

Biggest one: CHASE AND I GOT MARRIED. Freaking married. I’m a wife. We got engaged on February 15 and have been busy planning this wedding to happen on July 19. That’s only, what 5 months? Call us crazy (we definitely thought so), but hey, we hauled ahh and it was the MOST magical day.

Also…I’ve been burnt out. Like, seriously burnt out. Planning a wedding, working full-time, having to move, leaving my home church of 3 years….that’s been so much change in such a short amount of time. I stopped writing songs, I fell off of performing, and projects I’ve wanted to do started collecting dust. I didn’t have the energy to do much of…well, anything that made me me. And it’s been like that since January.

So, not getting into it too much, but I’m making some changes. A few of them are scary, and they’re requiring me to have a lot of faith. But I’m praying (and if you could pray for me too) that God brings the right things into my life and brings back the joy that I’ve been missing.
